This is the most unusual press kit I have owned. It was issued sometime in late 1964 by Bristol International Speedway announcing that a dragstrip would open at Bristol by the 1st of May, 1965 and would not only be sanctioned by the nHRA but that the NHRA would host the first event which would be called the Springnationals. This press kit consists of 11 pages of press material pitching the strip and the NHRA, 4 photos showing the track under construction, and most importantly and amazingly from my experience the kit contains a copy of the blueprints for the strip. If you are a historian or a collector who appreciates the unusual this press kit will meet your needs. An important document from one of the historic strips. The photos tell the story regarding condition. These were given away and treated accordingly by the recipients. They each exhibit signs of use but overall are in very good to fine condition.
