These are 7 issues of the ORIGINAL January 9, 1968 issue of LOOK magazine featuring the famous Avedon psychadelic images of the Beatles. 2 of them are a rare example of the complete MAGAZINE.... with NO MAILING LABEL AND ALL INSERTS. 5 of them are missing the Avedon pullout posters but the Avedon cover and rest of the magazine is there. Great for framing. The 2 are rare because most everyone who bought it in 1968 tore out the photos with the long foldout banner poster to hang up. The iconic psychedelic Beatles photos of the Avedon posters are in mint condition. In one copy the photo of Ringo has a small tear/crease. ( the back of that one magazine is creased)Renowned fashion photographer Richard Avedon was hired to produce a set of psychedelic images of each member of The Beatles, plus a group shot which became the black and white Beatlebanner foldout. These original 1968 Look Magazines with John Lennon on the cover are over 50 years old but are in excellent to really good vintage condtion. Please see photos for other condition. My mother bought these to save and had them sitting in a box all these years. The magazines have few visible handling wear areas ,and all pages are intact, except for the ones missing the posters. A few have some imperfections on the cover. And there is a black sharpie line through the "Look" logo on each
