Here we have a Kodachrome l original 35mm colour transparency depicting Beattie well tank 0-4-2 loco No 30585photographed by the photographer at Dunmere Crossing on the Wenford Bridge line on 15.9. 1958The original slide , aged 55 years, still in its original familiar Kodachrome 1 cardboard slide mount, grey fronted and red backed,is found to be incredibly good condition for a 55 year old slide, astonishing really, what a wonderful film K 1 was in the right hands andright equipment , it really stood the test of time.
