Beautiful Original Antique 1800's Cast Iron Twin Bed From an 1870's farmhouse we have this beautiful cast iron twin size bed that is complete and in good condition. The bed has no breaks in the metal and no repairs. The spindles are fairly straight with no notable bends or kinks. The headboard is 56" tall and the frame is 36 inches wide (when put together the frame is approx 74 inches for mattress length). We guarantee this an authentic cast iron bed made more than 100 years and not a more recent reproduction. he bed is available for local pickup or we can box and ship by FedEx. Buyer to pay shipping costs. If shipped the bed will ship as two packages. One package for the headboard & footboard and second package containing the drop in pin rails. The shipping calculator is incorrect because the eBay calculator will only calculate for a single package - it will not show postage for two different size packages in the same auction. We will invoice for shipping charges including postage and any special packing material needed.
