This perfect bisque head beauty is so original and the body is ultra clean. The doll is in unplayed with condition. I bought her from the first owner’s family. She has been in my collection for more than 20 years and she is the last of my all original dolls. The head is perfect. It has no cracks, chips or hairlines. The coloring is wonderful and the bisque is beautiful. The dark brown brows are thick and feathered in the way a lot of French dolls are. The eyes are such a deep brown and have painted lashes all around. The lips are outlined and the teeth are squared off, not pointed like some S & H dolls. The ears are pierced through. She has everything a beautiful German doll should have. I removed the original wig for shipping. I won’t ship without securing the eyes. The head is incised “S&H 1079 DEP” and “9” . The doll has never been completely undressed. She was restrung without taking the cammi (sewn on) or shoes off. They have never been off her to my knowledge. Her slip was tacked to the cammi in front and back, the under pants with all their tucks buttons at the waist, the slip was sewn on, and I now have it penned. I removed all but the cammi and shoes when I photographed her. The dress is a confection. It is light grey/cream in color. It has silky material and beautiful lace. One sleeve lace was loose from the material. read more
