You are bidding on an original piece of artwork that will be drawn by Michael Armstrong. I specialize in pin-up girls, female comic book characters, supermodels, actresses, and literary characters drawn with graphite pencils in a realistic style. You choose the character and pose - one character, no backgrounds. I have a few days off from work in November, and so will be offering this one commission to the lucky winner of this auction. Check again around the middle of December for another chance at a commission. These will be your only opportunities for a while if you want a commission and like my style of artwork. You will get the best results if you have a photograph or image in mind that I can recreate with pencils or transform into your favorite comic book babe. Please email me the web address of the image, or send an attachment if the photo is not available on the web. Artwork will be done on heavy Strathmore 80lb paper in any size up to 8-1/2" x 11". All pieces are sprayed with fixative to prevent smudging and preserve the piece. Artwork will be signed by the artist. Please no sexually explicit pieces - check out the samples of my work below to get an idea of the types of subjects that I do. It is fair to say that they are within the pin-up tradition.
