~~Original Artwork by Actor Alan Rickman~ This is an original piece Alan Rickman created for "The Art of Freedom: An Auction for Tibet's Stolen Child," in March 2005. The auction was held March 17, 2005 in Foyles Gallery, 113 Charing Cross Road, London, UK. Mr. Rickman's piece is 5.8" x 8.2". The medium is ink on paper. Mr. Rickman has signed the piece in silver pen. The piece shows the eyes of the Panchen Lama (taken from the only photograph in existence of the boy, taken shortly before his abduction in 1995), peeping out from a crack in the paper. The piece is framed in a dark wood of high quality with glass fronting. A wire on the back is attached for hanging. Magazines about the auction, and the auction catalog are included in this auction.
