Great 100% original Civil War era or earlier tinned iron coffee pot. Great condition, just sat in a Maine attic for 150 years or more, which is actually a pretty common thing up Pot is entirely cut, formed and soldered by hand, with a flat soldered bottom along with being made from multiple pieces of tinned iron, this way of making tinware was completely gone by 1870, tinware after that time was made by pressing & stamping from single pieces. Measures 7 1/2" high and 5" wide at the bottom. This is from the contents of a Maine attic w I found many, many dozens of pre-1870 tinware & many hundreds of other items Civil War period & earlier items I found earlier this year. Nice 100% original Civil War or earlier tinned iron coffee pot from a Maine attic. Please see my old user name for over 1300 positive feedback. I no longer have a business partner so the old name is caput, but everything is the same.
