David Chethlahe Paladin (1926-1984), Navajo, was one of the most fascinating Native American Indian artists of the 20th century and equally as honored. He is the subject of the Biography: Painting the Dream: The Shamanic Life and Art of David Chethlahe Paladin.This painting is titled “Prince of Peace”; acrylic on Metallic. Information on back: The Catholic Prince of Peace (Christ) is shown with the symbol of an Indian savage with his hands and feet cut off to dedicate him to God.
