Original German officer dress jackboots Original German officer’s dress jackboots. The interior of the boots have these numbers stamped near the top of the shin area: 365, 8172, 100x. We’re not sure if these are sizes or what they are, but the soles measure 26 centimeters which translates to US Men’s size 8. They measure just over 15” tall. The boots have 2 white straps sewn into the interior calf areas for pulling the boot on. There is still an extra leather strap and buckle inside one of the boots for securing them together in storage or transportation. The bottom of the soles of each boot have some sort of maker’s or inspector's stamp, but it is unreadable. These are in overall great condition, but do have somecracking and crazing of the leather in a few spots. These were issued and used, so not mint, however, they were well cared for. The black dye has worn in a few spots, too, which could be fixed with some polish, but we’ll leave that up to the winning bidder if they wish to do so.
