This is an original pen and ink golfing cartoon by Gwil. Believed to be from the 1950's. The caption reads " I see the Colonel is on leave again."It's part of a large collection of Gwil's original art work which I purchased many years ago.Gwil (Gwilym Williams) was a regular Cartoonist for Liverpool Newspapers from the late 1940's to the 1960's.These included the Liverpool Evening Express and the Bootle Times.Dimensions 14 inches x 6 inches.SEE OTHER ORIGINAL DRAWINGS/CARTOONS BY GWIL IN MY LISTINGS
