Watercolor is a most exiting medium to use. What inspires me are the effects of light and atmosphere in a landscape. I try to convey the emotional response to the scene. To do this I use many and varied techniques; washes, scraping, masking, spraying, lifting off, anything that gets the result I want. Speed is essential, decisions are made quickly, on the fly.
