3 ORIGINAL ITALIAN FASHION SKETCH VINTAGE SPRING SUMMER YEAR 1953 My Aunt owned a "maison creatrice des modeles d'aute mode et confectionde luxe" trading as EVA until she retired at the age of 60. I inherited her design sketches. is a brief description of her business. Eva's fashion house used six agents who travelled over the whole Italy and the south of France showing dressmakers sketches of collections created by my Aunt. The tailors then selected those they wished to purchase. Eva's fashion house provided them with whatever was necessary to make each garment. It is possible to find two or more sketches of the same dress because of the number of agents using them, but they are not identical, each one is unique, a hand made original. I am selling three original sketches which measures 13,7 x 9,8inches (35x25 cm). The quality of the drawing is excellent. This is a real working design and is in very good condition. The colour is unfaded. The foot of the sketch contains a short description of the model and number. In addition, a pencil line sketch illustrates the design as seen from the back. The sketches are very well done and they look great framed.
