You are bidding on a nice original German WW2 k98 combat rifle bayonet with leather haning frog. Both the scabbard and blade are marked "43avg" on one side "68a" on the other. It is a little harder to find these with matching serial numbers as they are often mismatched. Wooden grips, release button works fine. Looks like a faint RBN number stamped on the back of the leather frog but can't quite make it out, stitching is still nice and tight. A little brown patina on the outside metal fittings, blade is nice and has lots of the original finish but has been very lightly sharpened along the edge. Not bad but has been sharpened. Overall a nice addition to your WW2 collection. Domestic US winner pays $9.00 shipping. Thank you!
