You are viewing a darling little china tea set made in Germany. The tea pot is the only marked piece, and it bears the green script mark of "Rose O'Neill Kewpie - Germany". The set consists of 13+ pieces, which includes: teapot; sugar; creamer; 4 plates; 4 cups and 6 saucers. (I normally consider a cup and matching saucer as "one piece", and thus the figure of 13....). All pieces except one little tea cup are in very good condition with no obvious damage. One little tea cup has a chip on the rim and a resulting hairline. The little tea cups do have rough spots on the bottoms, but this appears to have occurred during manufacture. It is truly a darling, darling original and old set! I will be listing several other pieces of vintage and original old Kewpie china and tea sets. Please review the photos, as they are a better description than one I can give in words. Any light spots in the photos are quite often due to camera glare. This item comes from a smoke-free environment. Please email with any questions prior to bidding.
