This a beautiful rare Marklin 1103 saloon car made in Germany in the 1930,s. These were constructor cars where you could add different bodies to a common chassis, this car is the saloon version, they made it in 2 colours, Green and the much rarer blue. I bought this car some years ago and it was very rusty, I paid a professional toy restorer to have the body work restored and he did a superb jjob.It is in excellent condition with a very good clean chassis a working clockwork motor, the only minor fault is one hinge is broken.It has its original 1101 badges.It is 36cms long. The quality of these cars is amazing far better that the meccano constructor cars of the same period. No reserve
