Original Masonic Booklet - Dakota Territory 1888 This ORIGINAL hard to find 254 page book was printed in Fargo, Dakota Territory by the Argus Printing Co. In 1888. It covers the proceedings of the 13th annual convention of the Masonic Order of Dakota. The book is 9" tall, and is 6" wide. The cover is white paper with dark blue lettering on the front. This book includes 55 pages of information relating to the convention held at Deadwood, Dakota on June 12,13, 1888, as well as appendices which consist of: 1. A Memorial page, naming each of the 27 members of the 27 lodges who died during 1888. 2. A table showing the condition of the lodges in Dakota.: (I.E.- name, location, # members in each degree, total # of members, etc.) 3. A list of Grand Lodges of each state in the union and the names of the Grand Secretaries. 4. A Grand Secretary's "Tabular Statement" showing the location of lodges and the address of W.M. and secretary of each. 5. A listing of the Elective Grand Officers of Dakota from 1875 to 1888, inclusive. 6. "Foreign Coorespondence". 186 pages consisting of reports from all other lodges in states in the United States as well as British Columbia, and reports from Masonic Lodges other countries.
