This is an original 1995 UNCANNY X-MEN issue 1 cover poster, which measures 34 by 22 inches and features artwork by ALEX ROSS, in homage to the original scene drawn by Jack "King" Kirby back in the 1960's. This 1990's poster shows a battle between the mutant super-villain MAGNETO and the 5 original X-Men mutants team of Cyclops, the Beast, Jean Grey (Marvel Girl), Iceman, and the Angel. And as mentioned above, this same scene was used for the cover of the X-Men issue 1 in 1963, which was originally drawn by silver age Marvel artist Jack Kirby. This poster is Marvel Press poster number # 183 in the series. This out of print/OOP '95 poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED before, and is IN IT'S ORIGINAL WRAPPER, MAKING IT EVEN MORE VALUABLE! It's got a minor 1/4" inch tear on the left border, otherwise it would be in very fine/near mint condition. This vintage 1990's poster will ship securely to you in a nice strong tube.
