Original pair of Victorian era Royal Navy Epaulettes named to " T.C. Phillips R.N." Matching set marked " Caffin & Son Naval Outfitters Chatham & Portsmouth ". Stamped Left & Right on the brass hinges. Excellent Condition with no staining or fraying. Complete with red velvet lined storage box approx 5 7/8" X 8 1/2" with brass plate stamped " Bilney and Ashdowne Outfitters Portsea " along with brass plate stamped with Mr. Phillips' name. Box has seperated at each corner but holds together nicely and locks tight.This is a rare, well cared for set of epaulettes that would add greatly to any Militaria collection.
