Original oil on board, impressionist floral still life. Artist is A.C. Winn (Alice Collingbourne) (1863-1942) Born in Wisconsin in 1863, Winn married in 1905 and settled in Indiana in 1910. So this piece was painted sometime between 1905 and 1942 when she died. She comes from a family of artists including her father, sister and uncle. She is listed as a "Hoosier" artist (Impressionist) in "Womans Who's Who of America" and in the "Dictionary of Women Artists". This floral still life appears to be in the original frame. The piece is in good condition, but could use cleaning and has some dirt spots as you'll see in the photos. The frame is gold gilt with black border and shows wear consistent with age.
