This is a landscape oil painting of the desert southwest, specifically east of Palm Springs, near the Salton Sea. I made a trip out there this past spring and painted en plein air and took photos. I did this painting using a reference photo. The painting is on stretched canvas, 6"x9"x1.5" inches deep. I used artist quality oils to do this painting.
