Beautiful Original Oil Painting By Sheldon - Gilt Framed Landscape Here we have an exceptional piece of original artwork by Sheldon. This is truly excellent quality and looks beautiful hung. It has been professionally framed, in a good quality gilt style frame. It's very much good enough to hang, but could do with a clean. The painting is in good condition, but it does have some small chips to the paint as shown. Even so this is a fantastic quality painting. The painting is from a personal collection that was being sold after the owner passed away. The owner was elderly and was in possession of this painting for many years. The painting was in storage. The painting is not dated, but from research on the style etc It is probably turn of the 20th century. As for the artist, there are a number of very famous artists that sign Sheldon. But I have not been able to confirm who actually painted this one. Since I purchased this painting, it has been on the wall in my hallway. Like another painting I have listed on here, I nearly decided to keep it, but would like to book a decent holiday so have reluctantly decided to sell.
