This colorful tobacco tin has been in my family at least 50 years, from my family home to my home through the years. I am parting with an abundance of wonderful old things due to space constraints and I'm hoping that they find collectors that appreciate them. Before you is a very old original production tobacco lunch box tin from Wm. S. Kimball & Co., The American Tobacco Co. It measures 7.5" x 5" x 4" and has a hinged lid with brightly painted graphics. I have tried to photograph this tin in its entirety. The dent on the back is evident in Photo #3. The paint is almost entirely intact overall though I believe darkened with age and use. It has been used for nothing but display since it came into my family from an antiques shop my Mother stopped at. The bottom right of the front of the tin has a bordered rectangle that surrounds the words "Factory No.2 District of MD. Notice-The manufacturer of this tobacco has complied with all the requirements of law. Every person is cautioned under penalties of law not to use this package for tobacco again." You have been warned. :) This has been stored in a non-smoking home and I ship using good recycled packaging whenever I can. Thanks for stopping by!
