Rare original black and white photo in matte finish from 1930's of Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips Petroleum Co., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who was part Osage Indian, with his wife in Osage regalia. She is wearing full headdress made of eagle feathers which today would be illegal. They are standing on early Navajo rug. He is wearing Indian beadwork with fully beaded moccasins. Inscribed at bottom of matting - - in Osage language -- Wah-shah-she - (Osage) Hlu-ah Ki-he-kah (Eagle Chief) and his squaw. Matted in excellent original condition with no damage, ready to frame. Total size 12 x 16 inches.
