Original Unused Picture PostcardNacogdoches, Texas Deer Hunt- Circa 1910Two Hunters At the Windmill Description This wonderful old, but unused, genuine picture postcard is one of several I have of a deer hunting camp somew around Nacogdoches, Texas in the early 1900's. One of the group that I have is postmarked 1910. This card was in a group of hunting and fishing photographs that belonged to Edgar Thomason of Nacogdoches. This particular photo is of a couple of gents, I am assuming one to be a hunter and I'm not sure about the second man, though he looks a tad formal to be on the hunt. They are standing at the base of a windmill used to hang the deer carcasses from. I thought it was a great casual, though posed photo. I especially like the carbine, though I can't identify the model. Knowing Ebay as I do, I'm sure someone will let me know what it is. No tears or creases or stains.
