As part of a deceased estate I have the entire Sommerfield postcard and photographic archive to dispose of - some 3,700 items in total. This is a very good photographic postcard (it was arbirtary for Jack to use plain or postcard stock for printing) showing Aveling & Porter steam roller no 10984 Reg WD 6042 Winton Construction Louth standing at Glinton August 1960. Like all photographs in this immense archive, this print was made by the archivist (Jack Somerfield) from the original negative and this is the only copy of this print in the archive. It has been suggested that image enhancement has occurred before listing but I assure buyers that scans were taken with an ordinary Epsom scanner on a photograph setting.
