This auction is for a COMPLETE Lionel Postwar GP-7 Diesel magnetic coupler (part 2328-174) in nice condition. Tired of those worn out couplers with lamp socket springs or head assemblies that don't center? Here is your answer. Solid, trace cosmetic corrosion on top and bottom of armature, top and shaft of plunger and button and slight black paint loss on button (hard to see photos). This auction includes the sturdy stainless steel plunger, coupler head assembly, coupler armature, centering spring, thrust washer and retaining washer; everything you need to attach complete coupler assembly to the front or rear truck of any of the postwar GP-7 or GP-9 diesel road switchers and the 400 series Budd cars.
