Original Prussian Artillery helmet pickelhaube for sale.Its hard to find artillery helmet for sale nowadays and if they do, the starting bid starts at USD500. This auction will start at USD100.Grey metal fittings. The spike base is secured to the body by 2 studs. The other 2 studs are missing. Spike is an artillery ball that can be unscrew at the base. Grey metal rear spike, M91 side posts and prussian plate.Helmet body has very firm stitching. Almost no crazing. Beautiful body.There is markings on the rear visor in both yellow and white. The white paint reads a number 2 while the yellow marking is difficult to decipher. Looks to be as a BAX III. can't be sure though.Liner is present with a repair to one of the fingers. There is also a tear on another finger but basically all the fingers are present even with the thin draw string.I have helmet plates and a brass spike for sale.
