Please check tem out on my other auctions. This Auction is for a Model 1840 cavalry Saber. Overall length is 34 ¼ ", blade length is 28 7/8 ". Blade has a it’s original tip and uniform patina.& light pitting. Some surface rut and light pitting look very nicely. The heavy sword blade has 2 blood grove on each side, one fat and one narrow , blade edge with 2 small nicks. the blade with no bend. Blade marked maker stamp. Owner ‘s initial “E, M” on the pommel. Brass guard handle is in solid condition Wood handle with No crack, with brass wire CONDITION: OK THANKS FOR LOOKING!.
