The comic has Sept SSLS #22 P.10 and F6 written on the top of the first page. On the second page it has Sept SSLS #22 P.11 and F7. The third page has Sept SSLS #22 P.12 and F8. The fourth page has Sept SSLS #22 P.13 and F8. The fifth page has Sept SSLS #22 P.14 and F7. It has 558 written on the bottom.Size of story board - 18" x 12" - Size of color board - 10" x 7". (SS3)In 1937, George Baker went out to Hollywood to work for Walt Disney. For the next four years, he worked on virtually all of Disney's well-known pictures, including 'Pinocchio', 'Fantasia', 'Dumbo' and 'Bambi'. From t, he was inducted into the army in June, 1941. Baker spent most of his evenings in the army drawing cartoons of army life, featuring the 'Sad Sack', the bewildered civilian trying to be a soldier. In 1946, George Baker moved to Los Angeles and formed Sad Sack Inc., through which he merchandised 'Sad Sack' artifacts. Baker died in 1975, a few days short of his 60th birthday.
