For your consideration is an ORIGINAL National Screen Service Corp. poster advertising the 1974 movie "The Sting," which starred the late Paul Newman and Robert Redford, and the late Robert Shaw, among others. It measures 27 inches wide by 41 inches high. The poster is in "FINE" Condition as graded by FFF Movie The color is still brilliant, and there appears to be a few small stains near the top, bottom and sides, and pin holes in the corners that were caused by mounting the poster. As these actual poster adverts were folded when shipped to theaters, some of the poster's center creases show some tearing, especially where the vertical and horizontal folds cross. There are techniques to restore these posters, foremost of which is adhesing a sheet of linen on to the back of the poster, which removes creases and tears. See photos.
