This is the Elmo that started the Tickle Me Craze. This is the original Tickle Me Elmo still new in box with all original tags. This has never been opened. It was squeezed a number of times and still has the original batteries. As you can guess the batteries are pretty close to dying and as a result the laughing is quiet & doesn't always vibrate. He does still work though. He has vibrated for me a few times in testing . Elmo has been kept in a smoke-free house andhas been in a box in the attic for the last few years with some of his tickle-me friends. Considering the age, the box is in great condition. T is a small bend along the top front w it says "Sesame Street" but aside from that, no very noticable blemishes. This piece never had a price tag attached, so t is no gooey residue or tears on the packaging from tag removal. I purchased this piece new from Toys R Us and have been the only owner.
