Please check out my other original vintage European enamelware auctions!! Circa 1930's to 1950's. These make great gifts or usable display items. Our enamelware has been featured in Country Living magazine and shows, as well as many others. We have one of the largest collections in the US. Time to downsize so get some nice enamelware at great prices!!Here's an original vintage European enamelware tiffin, or meal carrier. Tiffins were used long ago to carry meats, vegetables, rice, or other foods for the day's meal. The bottom compartment usually contained hot coals to keep everything warm till time to eat. This tiffin is a cream color with mint green trim and has 5 compartments. They nest inside the metal frame. The top has a lid that could be flipped over to use as a plate. This tiffin measures about 17 inches tall, including the handle at the top, with a base diameter of 7 1/2 inches. Marked on the base as well as the bottoms of each compartment - "Kockums Sweden". Coke can is not included in the auction - it's just to show the relative size of this large piece.Overall good condition with surface and edge wear. The individual compartments have some wear too. The metal frame has wear. As with original enamelware, there is a tax mark on this piece. Nice display piece!!I accept paypal for payment. Payment is expected within 5 days
