This beautiful small watercolor is an original illustration of a Cocker Spaniel having a toy soldier laying across his paws. There is not a signature visible, but the painter was truly skilled and clearly a professional. It is a beautiful rendering with adept handling of composition and paint. The measurment of the image window is about 8" x 6 3/4", and the frame size is about 17" x 15". This appears to be the original frame and matting, probably 1940's or 50's. Check out my other items !
