Original WW1 US Army Doughboy's M-1917 Small Box Respirator Trench Gas Mask. the flutter valve is present, but is dry, the head straps are complete and in good condition, the mask hose is soft and flexible. The filter box has some surface rust, with the original yellow paint. The mask itself is stiff and seems like it might get damaged if I tried to tried to straighten it out.SO I left it alone. The mask comes with the original canvas carrier bag with adjustable strap. This bag is in EXCELLENT condition. Comes with the anti dimming tin. Paper service card included.
