Original WW2 German 8X Dienstglas Binoculars - No Reserve This is a neat pair of binoculars as brought back by a Lt. Colonel in WW2. He also served in WW1, so they could be from either war. 6" wide x 4" tall binoculars show some use, with most of the black painted finish worn off, but the leather covering is still intact except in two spots, and the eyepieces are in good shape as well. Looks like the original strap, although it may have been shortened a bit. The strap has a brass trimmed leather lens cover tied into it. T is also a brown pebble-finished leather piece - looks like it is designed to hook to the uniform so the binocs don't bounce when you are running. The lenses are very clear, with no reticule. The body is marked " Emil Busch A-G - Rathenow - Bislux 8 mal - No. 138 ". Hard to find an old pair like this with no grime on the lenses, and no chipping to the eye cups.
