Lot of chinstraps that unfortunatly were cut off m1 helmets Found in the pile of other chinstraps I have up for sale. The long straps have the early raised bar brass buckle definatly indicating ww2 manufacture.One is bent.4 of the 5 straps are OD#3 color last one is faded out OD#7.The cammo band may or may not be WW2 vintage,but as shown in the pic,something was sewn to it at one time.I'm guessing,ONLY GUESSING that this may have been a band that had the small hole helmet net monly referred to as a type 1.The stitching that holds the ends together is a rectangle with an X from corner to corner which is exactly as my complete net set is.T is no evidence of reflective "cat eyes" ever having been on this band,so It's definatly older.Feel free to ask questions/more pics and check out my other items.Thanks for looking.Winner please wait till I send an invoice with actual shipping my zip to yours before paying.
