Original WWI U.S. Remington M-1917 Trenchgun Bayonet dated 1917. Bayonet is manufacturer marked on the ricasso 1917 over circled Remington,on reverse bursting bomb proofed ordnance logo, and eagle head inspector marked. Blade has not been re-sharpened and retains original finish.Wooden handles are original to the bayonet and remain in excellent condition. This bayonet would be correct and would have been used on anyM1917 Enfield rifles made by Winchester, Remingtion and Eddystone. Also any U.S. military Trenchgun used in WWI and WWII.
