Original WWII US Army/Air Corps Officer's Crusher Hat. Hat manufactured by Bancroft Hat Co. during WWII. Peak/crown is of the unstiffened "Fifty Mission Crush" type. Brim is of brown leather. Model of hat is "Flighter." Oil cloth in interior of hat is peeled away. Officer's Eagle Cap Badge is original to the hat. Fabric is of officer's elastique gabardine. Small size - about 6 7/8 or 7. Condition is good to very good. Payment is required within 7 days of auction close.
