ORIGINAL WWII COMBAT HELMET & LINER This is a completely original and untouched WWII vintage combat helmet and liner. It is NOT A REPRODUCTION and it has not been modified, altered or Â"spruced upÂ". Helmet shell is a rear-seam, swivel bale with sewn on khaki chinstraps and brass Â"hook and arrowÂ" hardware. Chinstraps are in very good to excellent condition showing little wear or fraying at bales. Shell is completely dent free with original OD paint and cork texture. Nearly mint condition with a small band of rust above the chinstrap line in the back. Firestone helmet liner is also in near mint condition and is 100% complete. It has khaki webbing with adjustable leather sweatband, adjustable neckband strap (with United Carr snaps) and EXTREMELY RARE LEATHER CHINSTRAP WITH OD CAMBUCKLE AND CLIP TRIANGLES (also United Carr rivets). Helmet comes with itÂ's WWII vintage netting that is original to helmet.
