Original US WWII M1916 russet leather holster for the M1911A1 45 ACP pistol. Made by Tex Tan. Rich chocolate brown patina. Leather is soft and pliable. No cracks, holes, rips or missing stitching. All rivets and fittings are tight and present. Internal spacer is present. Original leather leg tie is still attached. There are a few scrapes and digs as can be fond on any field used holster. Overall a very well cared for piece that you would be proud to display with your pistol.
