This is an original World War II era ZIPPO LIGHTER. This is the 3 Barrel Hinge Variation. This lighter is made of brass, with chrome plating, denoting pre Wartime rationioning restriction manufacture. This lighter was persionalized by its original owner, who was an officer in the COAST ARTILLERY. T is a coast artillery officer's insignia attached to the body of the lighter. The bottom of the body is stamped ZIPPO MFG. CO. BDARFORD PA. ZIPPO PAT 2032695 MADE IN USA. The original insert is in the lighter as well. This lighter is all complete and functional. Overall, I rate the lighter in fair/good condition. This would be a good piece for a WWII personal effects collector, lighter collector, or reenactor. Please ask all questions before you bid.
