Offered at no reserve. ....... A gorgeous large antique English sterling silver and ivory paper knife or page turner. The piece is hallmarked for Birmingham by George Unite. The date letter is rubbed, but the piece is inscribed on the ferrule with SEPTr 1890 . It has a beautiful Art Nouveau floral repousse sterling handle and an ivory blade with that wonderful old patina. The piece measures 12 inches long. This page turner is in excellent condition. The sterling handle has only a few very tiny dings in the ferrule area-none on the rest of the handle. The blade has one tiny nip at the edge. The blade & handle are firmly attached, with no wiggle. The ferrule is inscribed on one side with SEPTr 1890 , and on the other with three script initials. The shield cartouche on one side of the handle is inscribed with FROM W.W.W. AND F.W. .
