Circa 1900 Oval BOW GLASS Gilt PICTURE FRAME 24" x 18" Description Now offered is a vintage AND exceptional LOOKING Turn of the Century , Circa 1900 ...OVAL Gilt Wood & Gesso PICTURE FRAME that features "BOW GLASS" typical of the era...nice decorative cast carved details ....overall dimension is appx 24" by 18"....and the interior area w the picture is displays measures appx 13" by 19"....we acquired this great antique frame as you see it FROM A PRIVATE ESTATE in Historic New Jersey with the original old Photo/Print of a Gentleman of the era..the frame generally is in good overall condition... original as found condition ...with normal minor chips and wear to the finish mostly on the back edges...all consistant with age and use( see last pic of the edge )..the glass is in nice shape...the print has some tears but we are selling this for the Picture Frame....Sold AS ACQUIRED so please ask all questions before bidding. A great FRAME for the Victorian home!!!
