Orphan's Benefit (RKO, 1941). MP Graded One Sheet (27" X 41"). Mickey Mouse (voiced by Walt Disney) and his pals--Donald Duck, Horace, Goofy, and Clarabelle Cow-decide to stage a benefit for what turns out to be an unruly bunch of orphans. This is a color remake of a 1934 cartoon of the same name which was the first short to pair both Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. In this edition, Donald is his usual irascible self as his slow burn takes control with an audience of brat mice! Despite his earnest efforts to entertain the children with nursery rhymes, Donald is mercilessly heckled. Eventually, the orphans send a parade of bricks and eggs on balloons over him and use slingshots to drop them on his head. The bright, well preserved one sheet has touch-up to a chip in the top left corner, fold wear, a small chip in the right and left border, and pinholes in the borders. With gorgeous colors, this scarce piece is a fantastic find for the devoted Disney collector! This poster comes with a certification of grading by MP Grading. Fine+ on Linen. Grade: 65, Service No.: 1429998
