I sold this Osolnik Bowl over a month ago and had been trying towork with the buyer , but he couldn't come up with the money so I amrelisting it. Rude Osolnik the master bowl turner signed this bowl "OSOLNIK ORIGINALS" and "WALNUT". It is one of his larger bowls14 1/4 X 13 3/8 X 3 1/2 to 2 7/8 high. The shape is vintage Osolnikwiththe thin edge (some places less than 1/8 " thick.) moving up downand around the edge. It is in very fine condition, no scratches or cracks.On the bottom is a old tape mark that I haven't tr y to rub out. the walnutgrain is wildly beautiful, running light and dark with great patina. Hisworks of art are on display at the Smithsonian and many museums around the U.S.. The Queen of England was presented one of his Bowlsby the U.S, Goverment. Its a fine peice of ART. Thanks
