~Otto Heino Pottery~ Exquisite closed vessel paperweight created by the gifted Otto Heino. It measures just over 1.5"H x 3.5" in Diameter. Hallmarked: "Otto '99." T is a piece of clay inside and it makes a rattling sound when shaken. It feels like a wonderful smooth stone and is a delight to view. Excellent condition! The round design atop the vessel is a different glazing detail...it is a glossy brown glaze with specks of black in it. This glossy brown glaze has a distinctly different look and feel to it when compared to the yellowish-ivory matte body of the vessel. The camera, though no flash was used, may have accentuated the gloss to some degree, but it definitely is a different glaze with a glossy sheen to it.
