E. OTTO SCHMIDT Lebkuchen und Honig 8500 Nurnberg Made in W. Germany This decorative tin pays tribute to the first rail-road in Germany between Nuremberg and Furth. The graphics that wrap around the tin depict the route from one city to the other. The domed lid pictures a celebration of the arrival of a train at the station, complete with horses, buggies and crowds of people in Victorian garb. The tin measures : 9 1/4" L x 4 1/2"W x 4 1/4"H. The condition is very good - the wear is mostly on the edges ( the pictures are complete ). Very decorative and a nice addition to a collection.
