Mom has decided to part with some of her many antique pieces, inherited from family members that are now long gone and in a much better place. Mom is 94 and she would like the proceeds from these pieces for the convents she helps support, so I have agreed to list them for her; reluctantly. This next piece, Mom tells me was purchased on a pilgrimage to Rome , w it was more than likely carved. The carving was done on a piece of sea shell that is then polished and framed in Sterling Silver with a blue porcelain inlay. The diameter of the carving is one inch, is well executed and has no damage. Good luck bidding!
