Here is an exceptional, near mint in original box, early, tin Litho wind up Marx's Amos an Andy Fresh Air Taxi in excellent working condition. This Marx's Open Air Taxi run like I've never seen before. The mechanism functions like it's brand new and it rolls, stops and shakes all over the floor. The colors are bright and vibrant and there is no rust anywhere. There are no dings, dents or damage but there is some minor scuffing. This Marx's taxi has been packed away it the original box for years make it wonderfully clean and near perfect. The Amos and Andy Taxi was made in the 1930's by the Louis Marx Toy Company in New York and is marked on the back of the taxi Made by Louis Marx and Co. New York USA Copy Right Correl & Gosden. Also, all over the taxi there are little saying and names and such making this taxi a sight to behold. The taxi has the original windshield, steering wheel, red flag on the side, head lights along with the original horseshoe hood ornament with the front bumper and hand crank. Amos is the driver and Andy with their dog are seated in the back seat and are in near mint condition and their their coloring is fantastic. All the tabs that attach the figures to the seat of the taxi are totally intact witch allows them all to rock, rattle and roll.
